Phoebe and I have had a busy week as on Monday we headed off to Weymouth to Mum and Cyril's mobile home at the Waterside Park just before you get in to Weymouth. Our first day was lovely and we headed straight to the beach near to the camp, a little bit smelly with quite a bit of seaweed but it didn't put Phoebe off. She made friends straight away with a girl called Grace and they played happily for the next few hours building a dam across the river that runs into the sea and making ponds while I sat and watched! I did help with the dam though of which quite a few 'shod' people were grateful for to cross the ever widening river!
And while we were there she slept like a log, so did I with all the fresh air we had. In the evenings they have a club for children so we went there for the three nights so she could play with more children, dance and join in the competitions. Sadly she wasn't chosen for anything the first night but it didn't spoil her joy and the second night she was the first one on the stage to do a race - she was in the Dolphin team.
