We spent four hours here yesterday and had a great time, bumped into lots of people we know too and just had a great day out. The colours in and around Arrowtown are just stunning at this time of year as you will see by some of the photos (if I can publish them on here or if not, just go to my FaceBook page and I have put some on there too).

The main street of this lovely little town was closed off today so that everyone could walk around freely and enjoy all the stalls and events that were on for the day. We arrived just before the Queenstown Maori group sang and did the haka on the green. I still love to watch them and videoed them this time. We walked down passed the shops to another green where there was a great craft fayre going on, lots of food stalls, clothes, crafts, wooden furniture, everything you normally see at these events. I bought a jacket from a very talented lady up here from Winton, further south, who was doing a roaring trade and hasn't even got a website for her stuff. It is a great jacket (an original as she never does two the same) and it is lovely and warm. We bumped in to lots of people we know as well which is always nice and bought hot dogs and had a pint in the Micro Brewery in town. There was a great relaxed atmosphere here.
