Saturday was gorgeous here and the Warbirds Show at Wanaka which we weren't going to but we decided to go to Wanaka for a look at the Autumnal leaves. It was a little dull when we got to Wanaka though and a keen wind coming off the lake but it got nicer later. The colours around the lake were lovely though.
(Am listening to Sarah Bareilles at the moment, has anyone ever heard of her? Am listening through 'Pandora' and she is so good)
As we were on that side of town Derek decided to drive home the long way round over to Cardrona as it is so nice up there on the plateau and we haven't been up there for well over a year. It was lovely and we saw the 'bra fence' that someone started for breast cancer awareness. Locals have pulled them down several times but the farmer who's land they are on got so cross he went on public TV and literally told his neighbours to leave them alone. Good for him, it's not hurting anyone and they are now back in force.
In a way I am looking forward to the cooler weather. It has been a long hot spring/summer/autumn again but is now time to cuddle up and let everything rest before Spring bursts through again - tell that to all my seedlings which have already come up!!
TTFN, take care and love each other lots.
