I think I have gotten out of the habit of putting my thoughts down on paper so bear with me, I'll get there in the end.
So much has happened since my last blog. Summer went by in a whirl of great events including the wonderful wedding of Ben, my youngest nephew, and his bride Jess.
Like I said, I really don't know where to start but will try to highlight as many days as I can. But first to mention
my special people who made my summer so special :-
And my girls, my beautiful girls, who I have missed so much and of course Phoebe who is growing in to such a gorgeous young lady.
And my best friend and sister Julie - I feel like crying and I haven't started yet!! xx
Thank you Julie/Mike and Becky for putting me up for all those weeks before I moved in to the flat for the last part of my holiday too. You all spoilt me to bits and paying you back with the odd home made meal seemed not enough by comparison but at least it gave you a night off cooking! And thanks also Dan for taking care of the flat for us, you did a grand job and know you loved living there as will Kathy and Greg now. Just have to get the rest of our stuff out with Pickfords help when they get their act together!
Derek joined me right at the end of my holiday as someone had to keep the business going! He spent many lonely hours on his own, I know I couldn't have done what he did and can't imagine how I would have coped but he did and it was wonderful to see him in September.
He came to England via Canada where he got to see all our family out there and had a wonderful time with you all. Hopefully I will be able to go next time and see you all again. It was lovely to see Clare in Bournemouth too who came down to spend a great day with me just before heading over to Canada. And the new edition, a huge welcome to Thomas James Baker. Congratulations to Jamie and Donna on the birth of your second son, he is gorgeous and another lovely addition to our growing family.
TTFN and thank you all again from Derek and I for making it such a SPECIAL SUMMER xx
