The event is held at St Giles and Park which has been the home to the Earls of Shaftsbury since the 15th century and is on the register of Historic Houses, Parks and Gardens. The house dates back to the 17th Century and is being lovingly restored as it has been uninhabited for fifty years. It is now the home of the 12th Earl and Countess of Shaftsbury and their family.
I was quite pleased with myself and managed to hobble around the show quite well, we were so lucky that the ground wasn't wet and I didn't have to use the wheelchair which was good for Becky's back.
Half way through the afternoon they had a falcon display in front of the Country House which was really good.
So that is the end of Summer Blog no 3.
TTFN thank you for keeping reading these, it is just so nice that you can all join in with me.
Take care xxx
