We have to decide what to do with the business and which way to take it, growing one side of it and dropping off the other in order to make more economic sense of the whole thing. But in doing that we then let go of the side of the business where I am any help at all and that is the selling bit.
Our rent here is astronomical already and is going up 40% in December so we have no choice really unless we can find cheeper premises to rent (in Queenstown that is as rare as rocking horse pooh) so Derek is having to build the training side again, not just the 1:1 stuff he does on a weekly basis but training trainers etc. I know he loves it and loves the challenge but to me, he should be slowing down not ramping up!! Oh well ............ this is not a good way for me to start my blog. [I'll keep you posted with that line of thought]
Well I think it's beautiful anyway and it is one of the quietest places we know as there are only two or three families left farming in the valley below and it is high enough that you can't hear anything from the Cromwell side either. There is a track up here that takes you all the way to Clyde and is about an 8 hour walk which would be spectacular to do, think we may need some more practice before we decide to do that one eh?
We spent a couple of hours up here before heading back down again.
Well derek is home from the office so better stop and finish dinner. I prepared some Thai fish cakes earlier so must get them in the oven and make some veggie rice to go with it. I'm going to make Pad Thai chicken tomorrow so no need to guess that noodles and bean sprouts were on offer in the New World supermarket this week.
TTFN, look after each other, have lots of kind thoughts and I hope your Spring comes soon.
