And the weather is warming up too! It was 23 degrees yesterday and is due to be 26 today so not complaining about that.
From there we walked along the shore and up in to the Gardens which are full of roses and peonies at the moment.
Yesterday, Sunday, was a beautiful day and 19 degrees by 10 o'clock so we took a walk down to the Old Town to go to the Farmers Market.
Last week I also made a batch of ricotta cheese which is so easy to do and tastes so good. I have a Mad Millie kit which Derek bought me a few years ago but it really doesn't take much to make this easy ricotta, just a 2 litre bottle of whole milk, some salt and citric acid (or lemon juice) and bring it up just to before it boils - don't add the citric acid until it gets up to temp - then put it one one side for a couple of hours before fishing the curds out with a slotted spoon into a ricotta basket or sieve covered with muslin and Bob's your uncle!
So this week, who knows?
We do have some DIY to do and I need to paint the odd thing.
So these are the last ones from Kauai.
I know it got washed away in the sand a while later but this may be our last time here ever and it is nice to mark it in the sand even temporarily - lovely memories xx
Special kind of place.
The noise of the water was tremendous!
So we bid a very fond farewell to this magical island.
You just never know what is going to be round the corner
