To continue with our 'firsts' we went Trotting this week, not us doing it just to watch though I am sure it is great fun!
It certainly was to watch anyway and it was a glorious day, not a cloud in the sky and luckily a breeze. After getting a little sunburnt at the rodeo I took a hat this time and didn't care what I looked like!
What a great spectator sport the Trots are!!
If we get the chance to go again I think we would.
A sack race .....
So the rest of the week just went round in a kind of a blur really.
He looks quite chuffed with himself anyway. (I am drying herbs from the ceiling above his head!) We have also started a diet and exercise thing for the New Year as you do but are not calling them 'Resolutions' as no-one keeps them up and we are determined to do it this time. We've both lost two pounds so far, not much but if you pick up a bag of sugar it is about the same! |
As I sit here the bright orange trumpet flowers from next door and tumbling over our fence and look so pretty.
We have just been for a walk over the playing fields in to Town as although the sun is beating down in this clear blue sky there is a breeze today so it didn't seem too bad and we needed some sealant. So town wasn't very busy .....
So TTFN, take care wherever you are, stay warm, hug each other lots.

P.S. Get well soon Phoebe x
