I have been trying to finish quite a few projects. I finished off my beach hut door stop from the 'Half a Yard' book by Debbie Shore and am very chuffed with it.
The material is from 'Lovely Jubbly Fabrics' on the Ferndown Industrial Estate, well worth a look if you are in the area. These are not my normal colours but they kind of highlighted this summer for me and I love foxes anyway.
We were up early on purpose on Saturday as the forecast was so good. So off we went in Dory to Hengistbury Head for a walk. We parked for free on the road and walked up passed the cafe to the beach. When we were children there were no paths or anything, just sand ones where people had walked and a mad scramble up to the top. Not for walkers today though, all mod cons!
But my fav view has to be this one!
Pretty isn't it?
We went back via Derek's old farm to see what it looks like now, a great improvement he thinks!
Then back through Lyme which wasn't as busy as we thought it would be.
So back to a normal week for us this week, we have Phoebe tomorrow and haven't seen her for ten days so am looking forward to it.
So that's all for a while. Hope you are all having a great summer too.
Just love this weather.
Not having to wear socks!!
Flip flop days.
Take care.
